Having a Dog: A Big Responsibility?
They say
having a pet dog is a big responsibility.
Does it apply to you?

my dogs are usually street dogs so
i don't have problem with this, usually they're more expensive to
retain and maintain.

yep sure does, my kids
take a lot of pride in their care of their dogs, but it don't just apply to
dogs its for any animal even a fish since we got out 1st dog 5 yrs ago we
have grown to have a zoo now we have 6 cats and 3 rabbits and 2 birds, and
our other dog now, i like the fact that my
kids have learned responsibility but mainly compassion for animals

I don't think so. For me,
having a pet is like having a fun. It is
like our own relative and a friend. We must care of them.

excerpt of what you said, "We must care of them." The word "MUST" denotes
responsibility. So, you are responsible of
taking good care of your pet. Though you're enjoying the task, you are
obliged to take care of them even when
sometimes you don't feel like doing it.

first, thanks for your reaction. second, having a pet
is like having your own child. you have to
feed, give them a bath and walk with them in the park. that is why many
people say that if you want to fulfill your
motherly figure, you have to get a pet.

yeah, I think it's
really a big responsibility 'cause your dog can't thing by it selt, example
they cannot feed, have a proper bath on their own, cannot clean their own
mess and many more, so with that its really a big responsibility for us.

yup. you should be responsible for your own pet and
everything it does. you should be the one responsible on feeding them and
taking care of them. you will be held responsible in what the dog might do
like for instance biting someone. you will be asked to pay for the hospital
bills. for me, owning a pet dog is like having a child, you should take care
of him. i believe that people who don't want
to be responsible for their dog have no right to own one.
i love my pet dog and
i can see that you love yours too.
